    REGARD – Saguenay International Short Film Festival, commonly referred to as REGARD, was founded in 1996 by Éric Bachand, a recent art graduate from the University of Quebec in Chicoutimi. Over the years, REGARD has grown into one of North America’s leading short film festivals, renowned for showcasing diverse and innovative works from emerging and established filmmakers.

    Each year, REGARD features approximately 200 short films, offering a platform for both international and Quebecois filmmakers.
