The San Jose International Short Film Festival (SJSFF) was founded in 2009 by two Silicon Valley businessmen passionate about filmmaking and the arts. Originally a single-screening event, the festival has grown into a four-day celebration of short-form cinema, showcasing over 100 short films annually from around the world. These films are organized into more than 20 thematic blocks, representing a wide array of genres, including drama, comedy, science fiction/horror, documentary, animation, and family-friendly shorts.
