    Since 2014, NOFF has supported emerging filmmakers of color in Louisiana through its Emerging Voices Mentorship Program, pairing participants with industry leaders to foster inclusive storytelling.     Oscar® Qualifying Festival

    NOFF holds the prestigious distinction of being an Oscar®-qualifying festival in all three Academy-accredited short film categories: Narrative Short, Documentary Short, and Animated Short. Winners of NOFF’s Jury Shorts Awards in these categories are eligible for Academy Award® consideration, offering filmmakers a significant platform for recognition.
