Held annually in late September and early October in Atlanta, Georgia, the festival is dedicated to showcasing films by, for, and about the LGBTQIA+ community and its allies.

    Over the years, Out On Film has expanded significantly, offering a diverse array of programming, including feature-length dramas, comedies, foreign films, documentaries, and shorts. In 2008, the festival became an independent organization, reinforcing its commitment to uplifting LGBTQIA+ voices.
