The Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia (SSFF & ASIA), founded in 1999 by Japanese actor Tetsuya Bessho, is one of Asia’s largest and most prestigious short film festivals. Accredited by the Academy Awards®, it serves as a qualifying festival for the Short Film categories.
Initially created to introduce Japanese audiences to the short film format, SSFF & ASIA has since expanded into a globally renowned platform, presenting a wide range of genres including drama, animation, and documentary.
